‘Unlocking the Value of Knowledge Transfer Conference’, was jointly hosted by the Department of Enterprise Trade and Employment (DETE) and Knowledge Transfer Ireland (KTI). This was part of the event series that the European Commission’s Directorate General for Research and Innovation are conducting across Europe. This event took place on 23rd April 2024 at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Golden Lane Dublin 8.
Emer Higgins, T.D., Minister of State for Business, Employment & Retail was able to open the conference. The event aimed to enhance awareness of Guiding Principles for Knowledge Valorisation and implementing Codes of Practice - European Commission (europa.eu) published by the European Commission's Directorate General for Research and Innovation as well as further the knowledge of key players within the Irish research and innovation ecosystem. You heard from policy makers, professionals and companies discuss their practical experiences of knowledge valorisation in the areas of Management of Intellectual Assets, Standardisation in the European Research Area, Citizen Engagement and Industry-Academia Co-Creation.
