Dublin City University & Inclusio

Inclusio is a spin-out company founded in 2020 from Dublin City University.  A Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) company, Inclusio focuses on transforming workplace culture through an AI engine that enables companies to take a data driven approach to culture and diversity.  The engine drives personalised, bite-sized learning and engagement that empowers employees to influence workplace culture.  To date, the company has raised significant levels of funding and already has a growing list of blue-chip client companies as customers and partners. Founded by Sandra Healy who has been pioneering EDI best practice for over 15 years, the company is an unusual example of a technology spin-outs emerging from non-scientific centres i.e. not STEM.

The Innovation Office at DCU has been closely involved with Inclusio from inception through to successful start-up. The Office was instrumental in helping the company spin out and has worked with the team to validate the original idea as well as in writing proposals for funding among other supports. The Innovation Office continues to work with and support the company.
